Agnes Marie Lindvall nee Couch, age 76, of Salem, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020. She was born February 21, 1944 in Hoxie to Jesse Walter and Normal M. Arnold Couch.
During her working years she was a fork-lift driver and a trailer spotter at Personal Products Company in Wilmington, IL. She was a member of Salem 1st Baptist Church where she served on various committees and assisted in the Senior Adult Ministry and AWANA Ministry. Agnes's chicken and dumplings were famous at the Young at Heart dinners. Agnes was a very caring and giving person. She regularly dressed up as a bunny for Easter and handed out Easter baskets to her 29 nieces and nephews and their children. She organized the annual family reunion and was the family photographer. Agnes also loved gardening and feeding hummingbirds.
Agnes, whom many called “Aggie” married Lavern “Vern” Lindvall on May 6, 2000.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Mark Gregory Bridges, brothers, Leonard Couch, William Couch, sister, Aline Anglin, and a grandson, David Rainwater.
Aggie is survived by her husband, Lavern “Vern” Lindvall; son, Brian Keith Bridges (Judy) of Channahon, Illinois; daughter, L. Ylice Bridges (Tom Louloudes) of Tampa, Florida; brothers, Larry Couch (JoAnn) of Hoxie, Steve Couch, of Hoxie; sisters, Demetria Bowman (Roy) of Malvern, Myrean Brown (Eugene) of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Alexandra Bridges, Brandon McNeal, and Dylan Bridges.
A Funeral Service will be Wednesday, July 29, 2020, 10:00 a.m. at Salem 1st Baptist Church with Bro. John Hodges officiating.
Pallbearers will be Dylan Bridges, Brandon Bridges, Keith Bridges, and Daniel Bridges.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, social distancing will be practiced, and face coverings will be required.
