Charles William Lovelett, Sr.

Charles William Lovelett, Sr., 79, of Salem, Arkansas, passed away, Monday, December 6, 2021, in Little Rock, Arkansas.

He was born in Lincoln, Illinois on September 16, 1942, son of the late Raymond and Clair (McNeil) Lovelett. Charles loved old cars, motorcycles, and riding. Most of the time when he was seen somewhere he was riding his motorcycle. Charles loved eating out with friends and enjoyed going to Swingles for breakfast and catfish. He loved video chatting with his family on Marco Polo.

Charles is survived by his sons, Charles W. Lovelett, Jr. of Florida, Wesley H. Lovelett of Illinois and Richard Lovelett (Tina) of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughters, Teresa Sires of Washington, Wilma Dukes of Washington and Roberta Raylien Lovelett of Washington; grandchildren, Desarae, Richard, Keena, Immanuel, Tara, Erica, Russell, Dakota, Jennifer, Katie, Robin, Jeremy and Cierra and several great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Clair Lovelett; daughter, Kathern “Cookie” Lovelett, brother, Rodney D. Lovelett, Sr. and daughter-in-law, Susan Lovelett.


Funeral Services will be held, Friday, December 10, 2021, at Doty Family Funeral Service Chapel in Salem, Arkansas beginning at 1:00 PM with Wesley Lovelett officiating. Interment will follow at Flint Springs Cemetery in Salem, Arkansas. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 11:30 AM.
