David King, 72, of Salem, Arkansas, passed away, Tuesday, November 1, 2022, in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He was born in Leachville, Arkansas, on April 21, 1950, son of the late Walter Andrew and Jessie May King. David spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He was united in marriage to Janice Marie Stone. During his working years, David farmed and worked at a sawmill. Upon retiring from farming and the sawmill he helped the ladies in town with their yard work. David loved fishing and visiting with everyone around town.
David is survived by his daughter, Ashleigh (Curtis) Clark of Salem, Arkansas; son, Jason (Sandy) King of Salem, Arkansas; grandchildren, Madison Romine, Makayla Harlow and Easton Clark; sisters, Lorine King of McRae, Arkansas and Betty Sue King of McRae, Arkansas and brother, Jackson King of Heber Springs, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice King; parents, Walter and Jessie King; sisters, Imogene King, Rosa King and Wincie King and brothers, John King, Loyde King, Junior King, J.C. King, Louis King, and James King.
A gathering of family and friends for both David and Janice King will be Sunday, November 20, 2022, from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Camp Methodist Church.
