Delores Geneva Sexton, 68, of Salem, Arkansas, passed away, Monday, September 10, 2018 in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
She was born in Jacksonville, Illinois on June 17, 1950, daughter of the late Aldo and Madeline (Hoots) Enke. Delores spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was united in marriage to Glendel Sexton on April 10, 1995 in Melbourne, Arkansas. During her working years, she worked as a Home Health Aid. Delores was of the Christian faith. She loved her family and spending time with her grandkids.
Delores is survived by her husband, Glendel Sexton of Salem; children, Steven Derek Cockerill and wife Nita of Salem, Rebecca Desiree Schultz of Batesville, Arkansas and Aldo James “AJ” Dean Sexton and wife Sarah of Salem; grandchildren, Trenton and Hudson Sexton; numerous other grandchildren; great grandchildren, nieces, nephews; sisters, Cheyenne Ingram, and husband Ricky of Batesville, Daphne Carter and husband Rick of Alba, Texas and Alwin Carter and husband Ronnie of Searcy, Arkansas and brother, Gene Enke and wife Ann of Ottowa, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aldo and Madeline Enke.
Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Doty Family Funeral Service Chapel in Salem, Arkansas beginning at 3:00 PM with Jeff Braim and Robert Stark officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Doty Family Funeral Service Chapel in Salem, Arkansas from 2:00 PM until service time.
