Edmond "Ed" Ray Fore

Edmond “Ed” Ray Fore, 82, of Hollister, Missouri, formerly of Gepp, Arkansas, passed from this walk of life on Monday, May 2, 2022, in Branson, Missouri.

He was born in Vidette, Arkansas, on February 19, 1940, son of the late Ray “Penny” and Elizabeth (Cotter) Fore. Ed was united in marriage to Elloise Quick on June 10, 1961, in Mountain Home, Arkansas and from this union two children were born. Ed loved his family and friends and always enjoyed meeting his friends for breakfast at Swingles before moving to Hollister. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and old cars. His favorite cars were 1949 to 1951 Fords and he enjoyed working on them. Ed could fix and figure out anything and he was a man that knew no stranger.

Ed is survived by his wife of 60 years, Elloise Fore; son, Kim Edward Fore and wife Pam of Smithville, Missouri; daughter Nancy Lynne Davis and husband Grant of Platte City, Missouri; sisters, Pauline Hodges of Salem, Arkansas and Audry Young of Olathe, Kansas; grandchildren, Mandy Nickell (Evan), Blake Fore (Casey), Alex Montgomery (Jake), Scott Olson, Vince Davis and Maggie Davis and great grandchildren, Ava Nickell, Bennett Nickell, Caroline Nickell, Amelia Fore, Monroe Fore, Reed Montgomery and Carter Montgomery.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Nicholas Fore.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 7, 2022, beginning at 2:00 PM at Doty Family Funeral Service Chapel in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. Tom Doty officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow services at Fore Cemetery in Bakersfield, Missouri.
