Ellen Marie Scott, 83, of Elizabeth, Arkansas, passed away, Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Southfork Therapy and Living Center in Salem, Arkansas.
She was born in Springfield, Missouri on August 27, 1934, daughter of the late Grace Katherine (Fowler) and Cliford Eugene Hodges. Ellen spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, homemaker and cattle farmer. She was united in marriage to LT Eldon Scott on October 3, 1956 in Salem, Arkansas. Ellen was a member of Oak Valley Baptist Church in Hand Cove, Arkansas. Her hobbies included quilting, painting and cooking. She especially enjoyed baking cookies for the grandchildren’s show team.
Ellen is survived by her sons, Jack McIntosh and wife Linda of East Prairie, Missouri and Ernie McIntosh and wife Carrie of Elizabeth, Arkansas; daughter, Debbie Moore and husband Danny of Viola, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Dustin McIntosh and wife Denise of Oran, Missouri, Tamara Henry and husband John of Winthrop, New York, Crystal Locklear and husband Steven of Salina, Kansas, Emily McIntosh of Elizabeth, Arkansas, Luke McIntosh and wife Stephanie of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Leah Fountain and husband Bryan of Calico Rock, Arkansas, Lara Wurtz and husband Jeremi of Richland, Indiana and Harrison Moore of Little Rock, Arkansas; nine great grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Hunt, Judy Davis and Shirley Epperson and husband Don all of Springfield, Missouri and brothers, Larry Hodges and wife Marylin, Cliford Hodges and wife Pat and Danny Hodges and wife Shelly all of Springfield, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her husband, LT Scott; parents, Grace and Cliford Hodges; granddaughter, Bridget McIntosh; sister, Helen Johnson; brothers, Ralph Hodges and Bob Hodges
Pallbearers include: Luke McIntosh, Bryan Fountain, Barrett Fountain, Harrison Moore, Danny Moore and Ralph Moore
Honorary Pallbearers Include: Dustin McIntosh and Gordon Comstock
Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 7, 2018 beginning at 2:00 PM with Bro. John Ueltzen and Bro. Larry Ring officiating at Doty Family Funeral Service Chapel in Salem. Interment will follow at Viola Cemetery in Viola. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 12:00 PM until service time at Doty Family Funeral Service Chapel.
