Florence Belle Shelley

Florence Belle Shelley, 85, of Benton, Arkansas, passed away, Sunday, February 20, 2022, in Benton.

She was born on February 26, 1936, in Ballard, Arkansas, to the late James Thomas and Mary Ann (McConnell) Shelley. Florence was a member of the Peace Valley Pentecost Church in Agnos, Arkansas for several years prior to moving to Benton and loved going to church. She was raised on a farm. Florence loved to be outside and enjoyed taking walks.

Florence is survived by her brothers, Robert Shelley, Sr. of Kokomo, Indiana and Bobby Shelley, Sr. of Ash Flat, Arkansas; two sisters, Rosa (Shelley) Haney of Wenatchee, Washington and Betty (Shelley) Qualls of Thayer, Missouri and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Lola Shelley, Cora (Shelley) Williams, Maranda Shelley, Nancy (Shelley) King, Nora Shelley, Ruby (Shelley) Gillihan, Lela (Shelley) Jewell and Faye (Shelley) Tackitt and brother, Roy Shelley.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 27, 2022, beginning at 1:00 PM at Peace Valley Pentecost Church in Agnos. Burial will follow in Agnos Cemetery.
