Gilbreath, Linda Evon

December 21, 1947 - July 7, 2014

Linda Evon Gilbreath, of Salem, daughter of the late Ersken Goodson and Grace Darlene Taylor Goodson, was born Dec. 21, 1947 in Wiseman, AR. She died July 7, 2014 at her home, at the age of 66 years 6 months and 16 days.

She was united in marriage to Gerald Gilbreath May 20, 1967 in Saddle, AR. To this union, two sons were born. She was a seamstress employed by the Quilt Palace for many years. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her sons, Bradley Gilbreath and wife Angie of Salem and Brian Gilbreath and wife Amy of Salem; grandchildren: Zach and Landon Gilbreath and Kyle and Nathan Gilbreath; her brother, William Goodson of Agnos and sister, Evelyn Tryon of Bradford; and special friend Rayford Martin of Salem. She was preceded in death by her husband Aug. 25, 2009 and her father and mother.

Services are Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 11 am at Cox-Blevins Chapel with burial to follow in Morriston Cemetery under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem. Visitation is Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at Cox-Blevins Chapel. Pallbearers are Marc Gilbreath, Lynn Tryon, Wes Goodson, Colt Shaver, Rusty Wallace and Keith Duncan.
