Hazel Dee Treadway

Hazel Dee Treadway, 45, of Salem, Arkansas, departed this life on Friday, February 17, 2023, in Salem.

She was born in Calico Rock, Arkansas, on January 18, 1978, to the late Norman D Jones and Pearl Irene Chambers.

Hazel was first and foremost a mom. She loved her children and grandchildren so very much. Spending time with her loved ones was dear to Hazel’s heart. She was an avid reader and liked sloths. Hazel was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Union.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Marcus Jones, Makaya Jones and Austin Jones and fiancé, Ashton all of Salem, Arkansas; sister, Norma Jones of Salem, Arkansas; brother and sister-in-law, Frankie and Marlinda Jones of Salem, Arkansas; paternal aunt, Mary Cochran of Ash Flat, Arkansas; maternal aunt, Sue Ward of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; three nephews, Tanner Love and wife Dayna, Spencer Love and Owen Love; cousins, Brenda Cochran, Susan Kay Cochran, Kevin Jones and Shawn Ward and many other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman Jones and Pearl Chambers and other relatives.

Honorary Pallbearers include: Tanner Love, Spencer Love, Owen Jones, Bobby Gray, Kevin Jones, Wayne Vroman and Jimmy Don Hall

A memorial service will be Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at Doty Family Funeral Chapel, 140 North Pickren, Salem, Arkansas with Bro. Tom Doty officiating.
