James “Frank” F. Sexton of Bexar, Arkansas, died Sunday, June 5, 2022 in Bexar. He was born in Bexar, Arkansas on July 18, 1932, the oldest of eight children born to James Oscar Sexton and Rener (Boatman) Sexton.
He was of the Assembly of God faith and attended Mitchell Assembly of God Church. Frank was a retired railroad construction worker and logger. He enjoyed hunting, woodworking, fishing, family gatherings (especially cookouts) and sharing family history and stories whenever he had the opportunity to. Frank loved his two dogs Sheeba and Midnight.
James is survived by one brother, Glendel of Bexar; four sons, Jerry (Terri) of Rainer, Oregon, Ronnie (Carmelita) of Gresham, Oregon, Loren (Michelle) of Tuckerman, Arkansas and Jeff (Rusty) of Gassville, Arkansas and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Christine Sexton; parents; brothers, Floyd, Loyd, Lester and Johnny; two sisters, Pauline and Irene; two half-sisters, Eunice and Euval and two sons, James and Gary.
A graveside service and celebration of life will be Saturday, July 23, 2022 beginning at 10:00 AM at Bexar Cemetery.
