Jimmie Lee Arnold

Jimmie Lee Arnold, 77, of Ash Flat, Arkansas, passed away, Thursday, August 29, 2019 at her home.

She was born in Orange Grove, Texas on September 2, 1941, daughter of the late Jimmy and Lecelle (Miller) Shives. Jimmie was united in marriage to Billy Arnold on December 7, 2007 in Salem, Arkansas. She loved kids and was a special education teacher for 35 years. Jimmie enjoyed the outdoor especially riding horses, barrel racing, fishing and hunting. She was a great storyteller and had a love for reading, writing poems and painting.

Jimmie is survived by her husband, Billy Arnold of Ash Flat; son, Phillip Naylor of Little Rock, Arkansas; stepson, Coy Arnold of Russellville, Arkansas; grandchildren, Chole Grace Arnold and Cade Daniel Arnold both of Russellville, Arkansas and brother, Danny Shives of Tomball, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Wayne Naylor; parents, Jimmy and Lecelle Shives and borther, Johnny Shives.

Memorial service will be Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Heart Baptist Church in Heart, Arkansas beginning at 10:00 AM with Coy Arnold officiating.
