Kathleen Carson

Kathleen Carson, 67, of Salem, Arkansas, passed away Friday, August 25, 2017 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

She was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 20, 1950, daughter of the late Marie Tyler and Jack Korbel. Kathleen spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife and friend. She was united in marriage to the John Carson on August 22, 1986 in Reno, Nevada. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church in Franklin, Arkansas. During her working years, she worked as a waitress. From 1995 – 1997 she worked at Corner Diner in Franklin and in 2002 she worked at Buddy’s Place in Horseshoe Bend. Kathleen loved music and her church and even through her sickness she never lost her faith. Some of Kathleen’s favorite activities included going to yard sales and flea markets.

Kathleen is survived by her husband, John Carson of Salem; sisters, Jaqueline Tschetter, Candi Korbel and Donna Gabriel and brothers, Michael Summerhall and Johnny Korbel.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Korbel; mother, Marie Tyler; step mother, Marsha Casteel and sister, Vickie Borrie.

There are no services planned at this time.
