Lena Faye Dockins

Lena Faye Dockins, 78 of Oxford, Arkansas passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Crown Point Nursing and Rehab in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. She was born on September 22, 1938 in Oxford, Arkansas, daughter of the late Faye (Ballard) and Eldridge Timothy Sherrell. Lena was united in marriage to the late Billy Gene Dockins in Oxford, Arkansas and from union came one son, Timothy Dockins. She spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, friend and homemaker. Lena was a member of Oxford Baptist Church in Oxford, Arkansas.

Lena is survived by her son, Timothy Dockins and wife Beverly of Oxford, Arkansas; two sister, Billie Prewett of West Plains, Missouri and Pam Johnson of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; brother, Donnie Sherrell of Joplin, Missouri and three grandchildren, Kaitlyn James, Josh Dockins and Jake Dockins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eldridge and Faye Sherrell; husband, Billy Dockins; grandson, Jesse Dockins and sister, Joyce Bryant.

Graveside service will be held Monday, November 14, 2016 beginning at 1:00 PM at Oxford Cemetery in Oxford, Arkansas with Bro. Steve Stevenson officiating.

Pallbearers include: Josh Dockins, Jake Dockins, Kaitlyn James, Donnie Sherrel, Joe Dockins, and Tony Sherrell.
