Lloyd Wesley Fletcher, 89, of Salem, Arkansas, departed this life on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on March 21, 1935, in Cave City, Arkansas, to the late Ewen W. and Elsie E. Fletcher. Lloyd was united in marriage to June Denny on November 1, 1954, in Evening Shade, Arkansas. During his working years, Lloyd worked on various golf courses in the maintenance department. He was of the Baptist faith. Lloyd enjoyed hunting and fishing. He liked gardening and especially liked flowers. Lloyd loved anything with four wheels. His John Deere tractor and his old truck, Martha, were special to him. He could always be found wearing his overalls and on a mission to complete something. Lloyd loved his family and spending time with his kids and grandkids was special to him. The love of his life was June, and he would always say June is first.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, June Fletcher of Salem, Arkansas; son, Tommy Fletcher and wife Gayla; daughters, Pauline Fletcher and Joann Thompson and husband Reed; daughter-in-law, Jeanie Fletcher; brother, Raymond Dean Fletcher and wife Georgia; sisters, Bessie Rhiner and Starette Hoffman and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Jimmy Fletcher and Douglas Fletcher; daughter, Marjorie Biby; parents and sisters, Joyce Ann Fletcher and Bobbie W. Fletcher.
Pallbearers include: Robbie Langford, Kris Langford, Hunter Ashcraft, Michael Biby, Adam Fletcher, Douglas Lloyd Fletcher, Shannon Biby and Dale Grafton
Graveside services will be Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Oxford Cemetery in Oxford, Arkansas beginning at 2:00 PM with Bro. Tom Doty officiating.
