Artie Cleo Martin, of Salem, daughter of the late Tom Manry and Martha Hyslip Manry was born June 26, 1923 in Greenbriar, AR, she died February 4, 2014 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home at the age of 90 years 7 months and 9 days.
She was united in marriage to Bill Martin August 7, 1940 and to this union three children were born. She was employed by Fulton County Nursing Home for twenty-three years. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her daughters, Hazel Fulfer and husband Paul of Salem, and Carolyn Graddy of Searcy; grandchildren, Terry Fulfer, Teresa Allison, Stephanie Pedigo, and Jennifer Wortham; great-grandchildren, Brittany Crow, Jessica Baysinger, Josh Baysinger, Cody Wortham, Justin Graddy, and Blake Hefner; great-great-granddaughter, Hayden Crowe; two step granddaughters, Sara Brotherton, and Jessica Hughes; four step great-grandchildren, Sophie Brotherton, Izzy Brotherton, Harley Hughes and James Crowe; Sister Aubrey Mooney of Ash Flat; special friend, Monteen Cotter of Salem and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Kay Campbell; sister, Sally Truleson; two brothers, Eddie Manry and Eldon Manry; grandson, Chris Campbell; and her father and mother.
Funeral services are Friday, Feb. 7, 2014 at 2 p.m at Agnos Church of Christ with visitation starting at 1 p.m.. Burial in Agnos Cemetery under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem. Memorials may be made to the Agnos Cemetery. Sign our online guest book for the family.
