Patricia Bennett

Patricia Jean Bennett, 70, of Salem, Arkansas, passed away, Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at her home.

She was born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas on November 14, 1948; daughter of the late Katherine Hazel (Beck) and James Daniel Scott.  Patricia spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. Patricia was of the Baptist faith. During her working years, she worked at various nursing homes as a CNA and then later as a homemaker.  She enjoyed taking care of children and her life revolved around her family.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles, making jelly, and playing jeopardy.  She was a walking encyclopedia.

Patricia  is survived by her daughter, Katrina Dees, of Jonesboro, AR; Rachel Gaeke and husband Kevin of Pocahontas, AR, sons, Rodney Bennett and wife Dawn, of Blytheville, AR,  and Daniel Bennett, of Salem, AR; 12 grandchldren, James Maynard and wife Kayla, Katelin Maynard, Haley Alberson, Caleb Bennett, Kelly Alberson, Kamdyn Gaeke, Jerami Bennett, Jaselyn Bennett, Jadyn Bennett, Tyler Bennett, Mitchell Dees, and Drake Bowen; one sister, Beverly K. Doncheff and husband Anthony of Ash Flat, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents,  Katherine and James Daniel Scott; grandson Kevin Gaeke, Jr.; sisters Marilyn Bratcher and Sandra Collins.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 22, 2019 beginning at 2:00 PM with Bro. John Hodges officiating at Doty Family Funeral Service Chapel in Salem, Arkansas. Interment will follow at Agnos Cemetery in Agnos, Arkansas. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM until service time.

Pallbearers include: Haley Alberson, Mitchell Dees, Jerami Bennett, Mike Carroll, Drake Bowen, Chris Farris, Robert Morales,
