Royle "Doyle" Hon

Royal “Doyle” Hon, 85, of Viola, Arkansas, passed away, Wednesday, December 1, 2021, in Puxico, Missouri.

He was born in Parma, Missouri on July 13, 1936, son of the late James R and Myrtle (McCane) Hon.

During his working years he was a plumber. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was of the Baptist faith.

Doyle is survived by his sons, James Hon (Norine) of Blue Eye, Missouri, Richard Hon, Of Medford, Oregon, and Kenneth Hon, of Rye, Texas; his daughter, Darlene Walker, of Doniphan, Missouri; brothers, John Wayne Hon (Linda) of Lithia, Florida, Gene Hon (Helen) of Puxico, Missouri, and Benny Hon (Connie), of Viola; his sisters, Viola Loetscher, Lithia, Florida, Ethyl Clippard, of Jackson, Michigan, Leona Rea, of Hempstead, Texas, Mary Walsh, of Grand Blanc, Michigan; twenty-three grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sons, Robby Hon, Michael Hon, daughter, Brenda Hon, brothers, Ralph Hon, Virgil Hon, and his sister, Nancy Hicks.


A Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 4, 2021, in the Chapel of Doty Family Funeral Service in Salem, Arkansas beginning at 2:00 PM with Bro. Tom Doty officiating.

Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Viola.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 4, 2021, beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continue until service time.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Love, Bryon Mealer, Larry Hammond, Larry Loetcher, James Day, and James Hon.
