Russell Dale Blalock

Russell Dale Blalock, 61, of Salem, Arkansas, formerly of Williford, Arkansas, passed away, Thursday, September 12, 2024, in Salem. 

He was born in St. Charles, Missouri, on November 2, 1962, son of Alce Duaine and Millie Ida (Mask) Blalock. During his working years, Russell worked in construction. He was united in marriage to the late Rhonda Marie Ruhge on March 1, 1996. Russell enjoyed fishing, hunting and working on his stereo. He was an avid NASCAR fan, and his favorite driver was Joey Logano. Russell was of the Southern Baptist faith. He belonged to Masonic Lodge 321 in Hardy, Arkansas. Russell loved his family. He loved spending time with them and one of his greatest joys was caring for his mother. 

Russell is survived by his sons, Nicholas Blalock of Clarksville, Arkansas and Marcus Nathaniel Blalock of Williford, Arkansas; daughter, Chelsea Dawn Shaver and husband Colt of Salem, Arkansas; brother, Dennis Wayne Blalock of Batesville, Arkansas and grandchildren, Emerson Wayne Shaver and Addison Shaver.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rhonda Blalock and father, Wayne Blalock.
