Turner, William Clyde (Bill)

August 12, 1925 - October 7, 2013

William Clyde (Bill) Turner, of Salem, son of the late William Coy Turner and Fannie McNair Turner, was born Aug. 12, 1925 in Camp, AR. He died Oct. 7, 2013 at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, at the age of 88 years 1 month and 25 days.

He served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He was railroad contract negotiator until his retirement. He was of the Protestant faith.

Survivors include his special friend, Anthony Rianno, cousins, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a special friend, Rosa, and his father and mother.

Graveside services are Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013 at Camp Cemetery beginning at 2 pm with burial to follow under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem.
