Wright, Carl Carneal

March 9, 1943 - October 15, 2013

Carl Carneal Wright, of Viola, son of the late Carl Wright and Iva Cecil Warren Wright, was born March 9, 1943 in Viola, AR. He died Oct.15, 2013 at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, at the age of 70 years 7 months and 6 days.

He was a self employed dozer operator for over 40 years. He loved the outdoors, and he especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his children: Reese Wright and wife Sharon of Viola, Leesa Wright-Brown and husband Darick of Viola and C.J. Wright of Mountain Home; grandchildren: Devin, Lakynn and Dalton Brown; his sister, Colleen Billinger and husband Jim Ed of Viola: special friend of 20 years, Kaye Comstock of Viola, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and mother.

Services are Friday, Oct. 18, 2013 at Cox-Blevins Chapel beginning at 2 pm with burial to follow in Mt. Calm Cemetery under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem. Visitation is Thursday from 6 to 8 pm at Cox-Blevins Chapel.
